The Electrical Inspectorate is a statutory body constituted under the provision of erstwhile Indian Electricity Act, 1910 (now as the Electricity Act, 2003) and was notified in the State of Nagaland in March 2003.The Electrical Inspectorate is headed by the Chief Electrical Inspector and works under the administrative control of the Department of Power, Government of Nagaland. It was created primarily for the administration of the Electricity Act and Rules.<\/span><\/p>\n
