The main function of the Electrical Inspectorate is to ensure that all electrical installations in the state are installed and maintained as per the relevant Safety Codes prescribed under Indian Standards and the Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2023 and ensuring the safety requirements in Generation, Transmission, Distribution, and Utilization\u00a0of electrical power.<\/p>\n
Inspection of electrical installations is carried out under two regulations of the Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2023.<\/p>\n
Regulation-32<\/strong> : Periodical inspection & testing, and<\/p>\n Regulation-45<\/strong> : Approval by Electrical Inspector for the installations before commencement of supply or recommencement after shutdown for\u00a0 six months.<\/p>\n Inspection Fees : <\/strong>Download\/View<\/a><\/p>\n Form I : Installations of voltage up to and including 250V\u00a0<\/strong>Download\/View<\/a><\/p>\n Form II :<\/strong>\u00a0 Installations of voltage level more than 250 V up to and including 650 V\u00a0<\/strong>Download\/View<\/a><\/p>\n
